Differences You Will Notice
Both HP4 and Geocel 2300 are professional exterior sealants that publish application down to 0°F and adhesion to damp surfaces. On the job, HP4 becomes tack-free in approximately 30-60 minutes versus 120 minutes for Geocel 2300 and publishes a 24-72 hour cure versus 5 days. HP4 also requires no cool-weather tube warming, while the Geocel TDS recommends warming the sealant below 40°F. HP4 is classified to ASTM C920 Class 25; the Geocel 2300 TDS does not list an ASTM C920 classification.
